Repairs
We offer a broad range of repair services. Pinball machines and other arcade games are generally large pieces of equipment weighing several hundred pounds. We recognize the difficulties associated with transporting them for service and offer service and repairs at your location. That's right, unlike doctors, we are willing to make house calls.
Please contact us at (561) 683-5893 to arrange for the repair and servicing of your pinball machine and arcade equipment. Please be prepared to give us the information we need to insure that we bring the proper parts, equipment and tools. Information that will be helpful includes the name and make of the machine, the type of machine and the nature of the service requested (repair, tune up, cleaning). The more detailed your description of any issues, the more likely we will be able to service the machine quickly and effectively.
While we do make house calls, you are always welcome to arrange to bring your machine to our shop, located on West Industrial Avenue in Boynton Beach. To get to our location, take the I-95 Boynton Beach Blvd. exit and proceed west to the first traffic light, which is West Industrial Make a right turn on West Industrial and proceed to the end of the street, which terminates at 1300 West Industrial. Enter the complex and make a right turn and proceed to 1370 West Industrial, Bay 113 will be on your left. We offer drop off service six days a week by appointment.
In some cases, repairing your machine will require diagnostic equipment and specialized parts. As a result, we will occasionally be required to transport your game (or parts of it) to our repair shop. In most cases, mechanical problems can be resolved at your location, while circuit board repairs are done at our shop or sent out to repair facilities.
Our repair and service rates are currently set at $45 per hour for service in our shop. For on-site service in Palm Beach, we charge a $65 trip charge for a house-call and $40 per hour for repairs. For house calls in other areas, the trip charge may vary as the time and fuel expended traveling to do the repair may be substantially greater. Like other repair professionals, we have minimum trip and diagnostic charges. In some cases, your repair will be complete in less than one hour. In other cases, the issues will require greater time. In all cases, we will give you our best estimate of the time and costs associated with the repair.
In some cases, we will send your boards out to specialty repair facilities that provide a warranty on their work. We pass through their warranty, and handle any necessary warranty claims to minimize your inconvenience.
